The Davenports’ summer wedding at The District Venue in Ankeny will always have a special place in my heart. I had already gotten to pray over them through the whole planning season and show up for their engagement session, so by the time wedding day came around, I already knew how special these two were. Walking into The District knowing their story, knowing how they love each other, made the whole day feel so different than just showing up to photograph a wedding.
