The District Venue in Ankeny, Iowa, is truly something special. With its wide-open spaces, it gives off this welcoming, airy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The lighting inside is absolutely perfect too and was so ideal for capturing those intimate, candid moments. One of my favorite spots is the gorgeous pond outside where we took some stunning portraits just as the sun was setting. It was pure magic! This venue is full of unique photo opportunities that make each moment feel like a beautiful memory.

From the quiet anticipation in the bridal suite as Lexi got ready, to the heartfelt vows they exchanged during the ceremony, every moment was packed with emotion. The first dance was especially perfect with everyone beaming as Lexi and Cameron had their moment together. It was all just so precious! The reception was a blast too! So many big, genuine smiles and excitement that you couldn’t help but feel the love and joy in the air. Capturing these memories was such an honor, and being surrounded by all that happiness made it even better!
